I have an annoying problem with FreeBSD under X on my system. I upgraded 2.0.5 to 2.1.0 over the week-end, in the hope the problem would go away. It did not. This is what happens: The keyboard input is suddenly redirected to the console from which I started the X server. The only way out of this is by using the mouse and choose a meny option that kills the server. I think this happens only when either the Ctrl, Alt, or Shift keys are depressed. (In any case, when the keyboard is hung, I can tell from which mouse menys are available the the server believes ether of these keys are depressed.) The problem happens with a late 2.0.5 snapshot (with some local modifications, therefore I didn't report it), and with the generic kernel from 2.1.0. The system has a Pentium 90 on a Zappa motherboard, with a ATI WinTurbo graphics card. I have the kernel sources in place, so I can easily make any experiments that you might suggest. Torbjorn
