Well...I upgraded to X11R64.0 today...the install was rather painless...only had to modify one file manually, and that was a simple cut-and-paste affair. One of the side effects seems to be that only root seems to be able use startx. Normal user seem to have to use Xwrappers, which start the server, but not the client...anyone got a fix for this? The man pages for X weren't really helpful, neither the docco that came with it. Cheers.
