Synopsis: [build] cannot buildkernel wnen update 7.0->7.1 State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: gavin State-Changed-When: Mon Dec 1 21:19:38 UTC 2008 State-Changed-Why: To submitter: It appears that something has gone wrong with your checkout of the source code: /usr/src/sys/dev/random/randomdev.c and /usr/src/sys/dev/random/randomdev_soft.c should both exist. Can you try re-updating your source code, maybe from a different cvsup server, and trying again? If you still have problems, please use either the freebsd-questions@ or freebsd-stable@ mailing list - the PR database is for bugs IN FreeBSD, and not for problems with it. Also, if this is a genuine build problem, it is more likely to be fixed quicker by bringing it to the attention of a mailing list.
