https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D201623 --- Comment #12 from Mark Millard <markmi@dsl-only.net> --- (In reply to Alexey Dokuchaev from comment #10) > it pulls GCC, but since 5.x and 6.x are broken on powerpc What is broken for each of them? The Makefiles are not set up to block building these, which suggests that Mark Linimon's builds have been completing in what looks like a successful status. (He marks things as broken for powerpc64 and for powerpc periodically.) Of course it could be that what is built is still broken in some way at run-time. It is true that, for powerpc64, lang/gcc6 will first cause a lang/gcc5 build in order to bootstrap, avoiding gcc 4.2.1 from the system. The Makefile does not set up such for (32-bit) powerpc . (Should it?) [As I use system-clang in order to find and report problems for targeting powerpc64 and powerpc, my normal powerpc and powerpc64 contexts are not appropriate for tests of such for the officially supported context.] --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
