Look at any Linuxulator messages with dmesg(8) (or in
/var/log/messages). It may be possible that we need to implement some
ioctls...

Yes. I suggest upgrading to 4-stable. This does not guarantee that the
problem goes away, but does guarantee that we can have it fixed.
