I am using 4.1-STABLE cvsup'd and built yesterday.

dmesg reports:

chip2: <VIA 82C686 AC97 Audio> port
0xe400-0xe403,0xe000-0xe003,0xdc00-0xdcff irq 10 at device 7.5 on pci0

about the on-board sound system. Is there a driver for this sound card?

I've tried with no luck so far to enable legacy sound support from BIOS,
all I've got was:

sbc0: <Soundblaster Pro> at port 0x220-0x22f irq 7 drq 1 flags 0x15 on
isa0

but every access to /dev/sndstat, /dev/audio, /dev/dsp fails with
"Device not configured". Any help is appreciated.

TIA

Best regards,
Cristian Bradiceanu
