Actually I've had a similar problem with the last two world updates. After following the upgrade instructions (make buildworld -> reboot) top/ps and other utilities that normally give proc size mismatch (if a kernel/world discrepency existed) would fail. Only upon rebooting the 2nd time, that the utilities behaved normally. I found this odd, but never really gave it much thought since everything worked fine in the end. - Will ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kris Kennaway" <kris@obsecurity.org> To: "Anton Zavrin" <antonzav@pacbell.net> Cc: <freebsd-stable@freebsd.org>; "'Kris Kennaway'" <kris@obsecurity.org> Sent: Sunday, April 20, 2003 1:09 AM Subject: Re: proc size mismatch - yes, I re-installed my kernel
