[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, I have a ComPaq EVO N610c laptop. It runs FreeBSD 4.8S and Current. I've some problems with the newcard/oldcard stuff. With acpi disabled the TI 1420 cardbus can't alloc any memory/irqs. With acpi enabled it looks if it could work but cards fail to get memory address. I also tried using hw.pci.allow_unsupported* but that only helps the cardbus <-> pci adaptor. With newcard disabled and oldcard enabled it fails to locate the cardbus-bridges and no pccard slots are available. Is this a known bug or is this related to some of the acpi problems? http://www.guldan.cistron.nl/n610c_2.dsl http://www.guldan.cistron.nl/dmesg_output.txt (done with cardbus and acpi) Robert -- Microsoft: Where do you want to go today?
