Hi, one of our servers (4.7-RELEASE) has a problem while dump is backing up one partition: DUMP: 36.11% done, finished in 6:03 DUMP: 36.35% done, finished in 6:08 DUMP: 36.59% done, finished in 6:13 DUMP: 36.77% done, finished in 6:18 DUMP: DUMP: read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [block -1181365118]: count=10240 read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [block -1245853402]: count=9216 DUMP: DUMP: read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [sector -1181365118]: count=512 read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [sector -1245853402]: count=512 DUMP: DUMP: read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [sector -1181365117]: count=512 read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [sector -1245853401]: count=512 DUMP: read error from /dev/da1s1e: Invalid argument: [block -1245853416]: count=7168 The kernel emits the following messages: May 7 04:32:42 mail /kernel: dscheck(#da/0x2000c): negative b_blkno -1181365118 May 7 04:32:42 mail /kernel: dscheck(#da/0x2000c): negative b_blkno -1245853402 May 7 04:32:42 mail /kernel: dscheck(#da/0x2000c): negative b_blkno -1181365118 May 7 04:32:42 mail /kernel: dscheck(#da/0x2000c): negative b_blkno -1245853402 [..] The problem does NOT occour at the same sectors or blocks, and it happens sporadicly.
