You don't say what the ssh server is but I assume it is stock fbsd. Can you generate DSA key pair on Mac and then convert the public key with `ssh-keygen -X -f ~/.ssh/whateverkey.pub >> authorized_keys2`. This is explained well in SecureCRT help doumentation.
