There's a bit of a problem with the snapshot generation at the moment (in a nutshell, the GENERIC kernel has grown too large to fit on a floppy disk). Various alternatives have been discussed on the -stable list, from pruning some drivers out of GENERIC to using bzip2 for the kernel instead of gzip. Yeah, this needs to get fixed, certainly before the first 4.5 relase candidate. :-p > When I did 4.4 Release I just got the Image and then burnt a CD. http://snapshots.jp.freebsd.org/ has ISO images, but they're probably having the same problem with the GENERIC kernel.
