It's actually possible to build the OSS output plugin for Linuxulator with /audio/alsa-plugins/files/alsa-plugins.patch (with obvious modifications to __FreeBSD__ ifdefs) to deal with apulse, however that's probably not entire= ly correct solution to this problem.
