I've ever tried that and I've got same results. It's explained in
http://www.php.net/manual/configuration.php3 :

"
With PHP 3.0, there are Apache directives that correspond to each
configuration setting in the php3.ini name, except the name is prefixed by
"php3_".
		"

Why do I not obtain the whished results?
