I have Sony VIAO PCG-F650 with the following:

pcic-pci0: <Ricoh RL5C478 PCI-CardBus Bridge> at device 12.0 on pci0
pcic-pci1: <Ricoh RL5C478 PCI-CardBus Bridge> at device 12.1 on pci0
pcic0: <Intel i82365> at port 0x3e0 iomem 0xd0000 irq 10 on isa0
pcic0: management irq 10
pccard0: <PC Card bus -- kludge version> on pcic0
pccard1: <PC Card bus -- kludge version> on pcic0

When I try to install Xircom CreditCard CE3-100 it finds the pcmcia card
as:
pccardd[186]: Card "Xircom"("CeditCard 10/100") [CE3-10/100][1.00] matched
"Xircom" ("CreditCard 10/100") [(null)][(null)]
pccardd[186]: driver allocation faild for Xircom(CreditCard 10/100): Device
not configured.

under /etc/defaults/pccard.conf i have:
# Xircom CreditCard Ethernet 10/100
card "Xircom" "CreditCard 10/100"
        config 0x1 "xe0" ?
        insert /etc/pccard_ether $device start
        remove /etc/pccard_ether $device stop

and here is a: pccardc dumpcis
