Hi frogger3099! try reconfiguring your X to use minimal resources (lower resolution, basic screens, etc) or maybe you should try XFree86-4.0? If i exit x the screen goes to a bunch of crazy letters and numbers and i lose control. if i try to halt the computer from x after the screen blanks out it goes to the crazy letters and numbers and freezes. I've tried using alt+ctrl+del but it doesn't work, i have to hit the reset button and wait for it to go through the fsck stuff. I've tried to use apm by typing apm -e disable then i've also tried apm -e disable -h disable -d disable. I've even tried using apm -e enable, apm -e enable -h enable -d enable and i still come up with the same results. does anyone have any suggestions? > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
