Certainly does :)

I'd backup the D: drive, repartition it half and half, and then
install FreeBSD.

Actually I'd just Dangerously Dedicate* the C: drive, but that's
me :)

Prepare to be amazed at how fast that box is when you run FreeBSD
on it.
