As of 10AM, Dec 17, the current SMP kernel is pretty solid. We're running it on a relatively early SMP board, an early revision of the ASUS P54NP4, I think. Dual P90 -- nothing to write home about these days. Just wanted to say THANKS for the good work! The kernel is solid; we've been beating it to death since we turned on the second processor, and it hasn't flinched. We're running without the APIC_IO option, which I understand is more advanced but currently more risky, so this is hardly new news. We are building a kernel with APIC_IO, and will report on that, later. -- arlie
