Forgot to mention, it's a ASUS CUV4x board + 196 PC100 RAM + 650mhz PIII running on a few minutes ago's 4.1-stable, Could it be the via 694x chipset? Ofcourse, as soon as it switchs to PIO mode, it'd be fine... but i really want to take the advantage of the ata/66 disk... any hints?
