Out of interest when did dirpref go in ? i.e. what was the first CVSUP date that would have caught it ? (I am unsure as to how to set about fiidning this out, even with the CVS docuumentation - so any pointers to ways of showing me how to answer my own question would be much arpeciated too!) -pcf.
