Dear FreeBSD users... I have a FreeBSD 4.1-STABLE system that had been running great for days. After I upgrade it to FreeBSD 4.1.1-STABLE (2000-10-11), I can't change any user's password! *sigh* I have no problem like this before going to 4.1.1-STABLE as stated. # passwd root Changing local password for root. New password: Retype new password: passwd: cannot set password cipher: Undefined error: 0 passwd: /etc/master.passwd: unchanged What's wrong here? The whole kernel and userland upgrade seems to go fine without a problem. Anyone having the same symptoms? Please help... Thank you...
