In general, yes. However, I think that only those libraries that use
the affected interfaces in libc need a bump in this case. Maybe we
should look to see which libraries are affected rather than a blind
bump.
The blind bump is the only way to make sure, but so far the project
has been unable to commit to doing such a bump due to the pain that
trying to do it in ports would also cause. But that's my soapbox...
