Hi, The build which triggered this email is done under tinderbox-2.4.3, on 7-STABLE on amd64, with tinderd_flags="-nullfs -plistcheck -onceonly" and ccache support, with the "official" up-to-date Ports Tree, with the following vars set: NOPORTDOCS=yes, NOPORTEXAMPLES=yes, NOPORTDATA=yes, FORCE_PACKAGE=yes. Excerpt from http://T64.TecNik93.com/logs/7-STABLE-FTP/linux-scim-gtk-fc4-1.4.4.log : building linux-scim-gtk-fc4-1.4.4 in directory /var/tinderbox/7-STABLE-FTP maintained by: hrs@FreeBSD.org building for: 7.0-STABLE amd64 port directory: /usr/ports/textproc/linux-scim-gtk Makefile ident: $FreeBSD: ports/textproc/linux-scim-gtk/Makefile,v 1.1 2008/11/21 15:45:58 hrs Exp $ prefixes: LOCALBASE=usr/local X11BASE=usr/local NO* env vars: NOPORTDOCS=yes NOPORTEXAMPLES=yes NOPORTDATA=yes build started at Fri Nov 21 16:07:29 UTC 2008 .................................<Last 40 lines of the log>.................. mode, which must be enabled for Linux binaries to run, is now enabled. Linux mode can be enabled permanently with the linux_enable variable of rc.conf(5). To make use of NIS you have to adjust yp.conf and nsswitch.conf in /compat/linux/etc/ accordingly. For example: Set your yp-server and yp-domainname in yp.conf: domainname my.yp.domainname ypserver my.yp.server Let your lists for hosts, passwd and group be resolved via nsswitch.conf: passwd: files nis shadow: files nis group: files nis hosts: files dns nis WARNING: doing work which needs to chroot into the linux base may not work. In such cases (e.g. cross-development) you are better suited with a linux_dist port. pkg_add linux-atk-1.9.1.tbz pkg_add linux-jpeg-6b.34.tbz pkg_add linux-png-1.2.8_2.tbz pkg_add linux-tiff-3.7.1.tbz pkg_add linux-pango-1.10.2.tbz pkg_add linux_base-fc-4_13.tbz skipping linux_base-fc-4_13, already added pkg_add linux-xorg-libs-6.8.2_5.tbz skipping linux-xorg-libs-6.8.2_5, already added pkg_add linux-fontconfig-2.2.3_7.tbz skipping linux-fontconfig-2.2.3_7, already added pkg_add linux-cairo-1.0.2.tbz skipping linux-cairo-1.0.2, already added pkg_add linux-expat-1.95.8.tbz skipping linux-expat-1.95.8, already added pkg_add linux-gtk2-2.6.10.tbz pkg_add linux-scim-libs-1.4.4.tbz pkg_add: can't stat package file 'linux-scim-libs-1.4.4.tbz' error in dependency linux-scim-libs-1.4.4.tbz, exiting A description of the testing process can be found here: http://T32.TecNik93.com/FreeBSD/QA-Tindy/ Thanks for your work on making FreeBSD better, -- IOnut - Un^d^dregistered ;) FreeBSD "user" "Intellectual Property" is nowhere near as valuable as "Intellect" FreeBSD committer -> itetcu@FreeBSD.org, PGP Key ID 057E9F8B493A297B
