I dislike it, but it isn't any smellier than the rest of the dhclient we have today. I'd rather have dhclient listen to the routing socket to know when interfaces come and go. If the interface isn't in a list of 'don't dhcp me' list, then it should add/remove it form the list of interfaces that it is listening to (I'm talking about having dhclient do this directly, and not via OMAPI or whatever it uses). However, I understand people might not want to deal with our current dhclient. Sometimes I think we need to rewrite a BSD-friendly licensed dhclient... Ah, so many projects, so little time. Warner
