This is a known limitation of the version of OpenSSH version which is in our tree. OpenSSH 2.5.1 (released February 19, 2001) corrects the problem. I saw on one of the other FreeBSD lists that OpenSSH 2.5.1 might cause us other problems, so don't hold your breath waiting for integration.
