I've installed and tested the jdk1.1.8_ELF.V99-6-3.tar.gz on 3.2-STABLE (and also briefly on 3.1-STABLE but we upgraded concurrently). The software is a mix of sockets, crypto (Cryptix) and Swing. (Client side is at webfunds.org, or will be soon). No problems noticed that were conceivably attributable to the new version. There are some 20k lines of code here, and cycle testing is happening now.
