I'm glad somebody's working on egcs/alpha. Regarding your patches ... in alpha/freebsd.h, I'd suggest adding the following, taken from the end of i386/freebsd.h: /* FreeBSD ELF using our home-grown crtbegin.o/crtend.o does not support the DWARF2 unwinding mechanisms.
