Could anyone who is experiencing a boot-time hang on 7-current with acpi enabled send some information? First, be sure your system works with acpi disabled (hint.acpi.0.disabled="1"), otherwise it's something else. Then, compile your kernel with: options DDB options KDB Reboot with the new kernel and hit CTRL-ALT-ESC when the boot hangs. Type "trace" to get a stack trace as to what's hung. Copy down those lines or take a small photo and send it back. Thanks, -- Nate
