 There have been many fixes made to the if_bfe driver since 5.3-BETA when 
 it was still relatively new - are you still seeing these errors with a 
 newer release?
 
 The frame discard errors can be caused by a duplex mismatch.  If you're 
 still seeing this error, could you check the duplex settings between the 
 bfe0 interface and the switch?
