Dear FreeBSD Supporters, I am trying to install JDK 1.5.0 on a FreeBSD system and getting some errors; esbank# /usr/local/jdk1.5.0/bin/java --version Error: could not find libjava.so Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment. is what is generating the error ... the libjava.so is in: esbank# find /usr/local/jdk1.5.0 -name libjava.so -print /usr/local/jdk1.5.0/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so so for some reason, it isn't finding the proper path ...
