Hey all...I'm a real newbie and am trying to install FreeBSD on my server. I've made 2 installs, which go well, then I makeworld, recompile the kernel and buildworld install and run the mergmanager, just like it says to do in chapter 21. Follow it step by step... Both times it blows up...same error. init: can't exec getty '/usr/libexec/getty' for port /dev/ttyv(all the ports for the terminal windows) No such file or directory and it's a loop what am I doing wrong?
