Synopsis: fstat(1) fails to report certain files State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback State-Changed-By: edwin State-Changed-When: Mon Aug 4 12:14:11 UTC 2008 State-Changed-Why: I had this in the past, and fixed it by setting the following in my /etc/sysctl.conf: hw.snd.pcm0.vchans=32 Of course it doesn't resolve the fstat(1) issue, but as Kris said, that could be a different issue. Is this issue still happening? http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=111835
