VMware Workstation is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured for your running kernel. To (re-)configure it, your system administrator must find and run "vmware-config.pl". For more information, please read the INSTALL file in VMware Workstation's documentation directory. i then try /usr/local/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-config.pl and it whines # ./vmware-config.pl Setup is unable to find the "insmod" program on your machine. Please make sure it is installed. Do you want to specify the location of this program by hand? [yes] so i am confused and stuck again.
