The interaction between watchdogs and debuggers can be improved a fair bit, but I'm not quite sure how it should work. I think the scenario I prefer is that a sysctl defines the timeout which the watchdogs should be set for on entry into a debugger and that the watchdog command should be able to set a specified timeout.
