For some reason, it doesn't like the CC and CXX if they were poked. I used
to get the same errors until I disable the CC and CXX in the make.conf. If
you are using same exactly from ccache's guide, then you should change
like this..
=================================
.if !defined(NOCCACHE)
.if ${.CURDIR:M/usr/src*}
CC=/usr/local/libexec/ccache/cc
CXX=/usr/local/libexec/ccache/c++
.else
CC=cc
CXX=c++
.endif
.else
CC=/usr/bin/cc
CXX=/usr/bin/c++
.endif
=================================
to...
=================================
.if !defined(NOCCACHE)
.if ${.CURDIR:M/usr/src*}
#CC=/usr/local/libexec/ccache/cc
#CXX=/usr/local/libexec/ccache/c++
.else
CC=cc
CXX=c++
.endif
.else
CC=/usr/bin/cc
CXX=/usr/bin/c++
.endif
=================================
The 'make buildworld' works now without ccache and with CC/CXX untouch.
