Hello, I'm glad to announce new (actually ~2 months old :>) local FreeBSD user community, uaFUG. * Who we are? This group was created May 15, 2002 by me and there are more than 100 members in it for now. All of them are somehow involved in dealing with FreeBSD. Main directions of group are: o Advocating FreeBSD in Ukraine; o Helping Ukrainian FreeBSD users in resolving questions and troubles related to using FreeBSD; o Increasing level of knowledge among Ukrainian IT-specialists and amateurs on advantages of using FreeBSD in real production environment. * What do we do? Regular meetings (once per 2-3 weeks) where we discussing different questions related to use of FreeBSD. Also, there is open mailing list to discuss those questions and coordinate Group. * How to join? Any man/woman, who interested in FreeBSD or have questions on it, is welcome to join us by subscribing to our mailing list by sending email with 'subscribe freebsd' in body to majordomo@FreeBSDdiary.org.ua.
