Often ppp doesn't work, so I have to reset the modem (ZyXEL Elite).
I rlogin as root to the machine where ppp is running.
killall ppp
ppp
term
ats38=4swr
(zyxel restarts like it has been turned off and on. This is nessecary;
atz is not enough)
~.
rlogin terminates, I'm back to "my own machine".
If I use telnet instead, I doesn't get disconnected from the modemserver.
