I recently heard directly from a developer at Mellanox that ConnectX 2 
and 3 are the currently supported IB interfaces.

Older ConnectX and Infinihost cards also work, but I'm under the 
impression that development and testing for them has ceased.  Someone 
please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I scripted the process of building IB support into FreeBSD.  The scripts

I'd be interested in hearing about your performance results.

We're looking at using FreeNAS with IB for our NFS servers in an HPC 
cluster.
