The following reply was made to PR bin/134022; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Michael Schout <mschout@gkg.net> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, damien.bobillot_freebsd@m4x.org Cc: Subject: bin/134022: host, dig and nslookup hang in _umtx_op syscall after 7.1-RELEASE-p5 update Date: Wed, 29 Apr 2009 15:55:10 -0500 I've run into this as well, but only within jail environments. The host environment does not deadlock, but making these calls inside jails *does* deadlock on 7.1-RELEASE-p5. Rolling back to 7.1-RELEASE fixed it for me.
