The branch main has been updated by sunpoet: URL: https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/ports/commit/?id=eba15ff33487310fb9131b428aaa9e177280fa71 commit eba15ff33487310fb9131b428aaa9e177280fa71 Author: Po-Chuan Hsieh <sunpoet@FreeBSD.org> AuthorDate: 2024-03-23 15:10:39 +0000 Commit: Po-Chuan Hsieh <sunpoet@FreeBSD.org> CommitDate: 2024-03-23 15:10:39 +0000 x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2: Add noto-sans-symbols2 2.008 When text is rendered by a computer, sometimes characters are displayed as "tofu". They are little boxes to indicate your device doesn't have a font to display the text. Google has been developing a font family called Noto, which aims to support all languages with a harmonious look and feel. Noto is Google's answer to tofu. The name noto is to convey the idea that Google's goal is to see no more "tofu". Noto has multiple styles and weights, and is freely available to all. The comprehensive set of fonts and tools used in our development is available in our GitHub repositories. This port provides the fonts set of Noto Sans Symbols 2. --- x11-fonts/Makefile | 1 + x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/Makefile | 30 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/distinfo | 3 +++ x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/pkg-descr | 12 ++++++++++++ 4 files changed, 46 insertions(+) diff --git a/x11-fonts/Makefile b/x11-fonts/Makefile index ee241567b24e..792d14bd82ef 100644 --- a/x11-fonts/Makefile +++ b/x11-fonts/Makefile @@ -220,6 +220,7 @@ SUBDIR += noto-sans-symbols SUBDIR += noto-sans-symbols-basic SUBDIR += noto-sans-symbols-extra + SUBDIR += noto-sans-symbols2 SUBDIR += noto-sans-tc SUBDIR += noto-sc SUBDIR += noto-serif-hk diff --git a/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/Makefile b/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/Makefile new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..ae9731f901b9 --- /dev/null +++ b/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/Makefile @@ -0,0 +1,30 @@ +PORTNAME= noto +PORTVERSION= 2.008 +CATEGORIES= x11-fonts +MASTER_SITES= https://github.com/notofonts/symbols/releases/download/NotoSansSymbols2-v${PORTVERSION}/ +PKGNAMESUFFIX= -sans-symbols2 +DISTNAME= NotoSansSymbols2-v${PORTVERSION} +DIST_SUBDIR= Noto + +MAINTAINER= sunpoet@FreeBSD.org +COMMENT= Google Noto Sans Symbols 2 +WWW= https://fonts.google.com/noto \ + https://notofonts.github.io/ \ + https://github.com/notofonts/symbols + +LICENSE= OFL11 +LICENSE_FILE= ${WRKSRC}/OFL.txt + +USES= fonts zip + +NO_ARCH= yes +NO_BUILD= yes +NO_WRKSUBDIR= yes + +PLIST_FILES= ${FONTSDIR}/NotoSansSymbols2-Regular.ttf + +do-install: + ${MKDIR} ${STAGEDIR}${FONTSDIR} + ${INSTALL_DATA} ${WRKSRC}/NotoSansSymbols2/hinted/ttf/NotoSansSymbols2-Regular.ttf ${STAGEDIR}${FONTSDIR} + +.include <bsd.port.mk> diff --git a/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/distinfo b/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/distinfo new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..be133a69a46c --- /dev/null +++ b/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/distinfo @@ -0,0 +1,3 @@ +TIMESTAMP = 1710676091 +SHA256 (Noto/NotoSansSymbols2-v2.008.zip) = 346c930bbe8eb946701a05c54e9c11a2094dee1d93c387bf1771c0a3e335688f +SIZE (Noto/NotoSansSymbols2-v2.008.zip) = 2331441 diff --git a/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/pkg-descr b/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/pkg-descr new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..d131787988d6 --- /dev/null +++ b/x11-fonts/noto-sans-symbols2/pkg-descr @@ -0,0 +1,12 @@ +When text is rendered by a computer, sometimes characters are displayed as +"tofu".
