I'm just confused why the committer outsmarted submitter by silently dropping some important parts[1] of the patch in ports/148753. I can still reproduce that error reported by QAT. But pointyhat seems to not use make jobs so it's not in its logs[2]. [1] the workaround for ports/148754 - empty _MAKE_JOBS after bsd.port.post.mk [2] empty HOTSPOT_BUILD_JOBS indicates make jobs are not used http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/errorlogs/amd64-9-latest-logs/openjdk-7.0.82_1.log
