How do I update the FreeBSD-CURRENT kernel, and is it done through pkg? I installed FreeBSD-CURRENT without src. As a new user you should probably run a supported release version, such as 14.0. Releases have binary updates available via freebsd-update. (Upgrading the base OS via pkg is still experimental.) Current has no such feature, so you need to download/update the source and recompile.
