I seem to remember that changes in relation to the
direct map have occurred since head -r360311 (that
I've been running for some time). Definitely broke
for without usefdt in what I'm running.

But I'm not progressing until vm_page_dirty in
pmap_protect and whatever for moea64_protect are
updated and I can verify the result is well
behaved in my contexts.
