It would be good if you could instrument the relevant parts of load_elf.c
and build a new cdloader, then re-master the CDROM. I am *guessing* that
there is garbage being read from the file. 8(

Well, maybe. Except that you can read the CD well enough to get the
kernel off it.

Correct. I think that somewhere between the CDROM and the loader the
bits are getting mangled. The challenge now is to find out where; I hope
you have a stack of blanks. 8)
