I don't care about 4.4-RC.  lots of things happened between 4.4-RC and
4.4-RELEASE and even more between 4.4-RELEASE and 4.5-RELEASE :-).
And that is a different code-base even (NEWCARD vs OLDCARD).

but I can now recreate the problems here.
