I personally do the following: 1) Create a floppy mount directory (I use /floppy with a 755 chmod) 2) Edit /etc/fstab and add the following line: #Device Mountpoint FStype Options Dump Pass# /dev/fd0c /floppy msdos rw,noauto 0 0 3) Using the root account, I just mount the floppy: ns# mount /floppy This of assumes you have the MSDOS file system support in your kernel.
