Hi! Fresh install of 8.0-BETA2 upgraded to 8.0-BETA3 using source, x.org installed from fresh ports tree. It cannot read EDID from Samsung 959NF CRT monitor. The same time, it can read EDID under 7.2-STABLE just fine. I've tried older nvidia-driver-180.60 (downgrading port) and current port's version 185.18.29, no change. (WW) NVIDIA(GPU-0): Unable to read EDID for display device CRT-1 (II) NVIDIA(0): NVIDIA GPU GeForce 7600 GS (G73) at PCI:1:0:0 (GPU-0) (--) NVIDIA(0): Memory: 262144 kBytes (--) NVIDIA(0): VideoBIOS: 05.73.22.16.02 (II) NVIDIA(0): Detected PCI Express Link width: 16X (--) NVIDIA(0): Interlaced video modes are supported on this GPU (--) NVIDIA(0): Connected display device(s) on GeForce 7600 GS at PCI:1:0:0: (--) NVIDIA(0): CRT-1 (--) NVIDIA(0): CRT-1: 400.0 MHz maximum pixel clock (II) NVIDIA(0): Assigned Display Device: CRT-1 (==) NVIDIA(0): (==) NVIDIA(0): No modes were requested; the default mode "nvidia-auto-select" (==) NVIDIA(0): will be used as the requested mode. Please direct me there to dig. Eugene Grosbein
