I saw some diagnostic output during a 5.1 install that someone may want to
fix before the real release.

Either in the interface configuration, or, more likely, the Linux emulation
package, a chown to root.operator is performed, apparently twice. Given
that . is no longer a valid seperator, the chown is obviously not happening.
