It seems usbconfig is not working for me (-CURRENT from Jan 29, amd64) What i'm trying to do is turn off power to a usb device (actually i wanted to turn off all ports, no matter if there was a device there or not) For all commands I get the error message: "No device match or lack of permissions." Also imo its not really clear in man usbconfig what -u and -a should be. What should it be for ums0 at uhub0? -u 0 -a 0 (uhub0 usm0) -u 0 -a 1 (from usbdevs output: /dev/usb0 port 1) -u 0 -a 2 (from usbdevs output: /dev/usb0 addr 2) I tried all, same error message. I also tried without -u and -a, same # usbdevs -v Controller /dev/usb0: addr 1: full speed, self powered, config 1, OHCI root hub(0x0000), nVidia(0x0000), rev 1.00 port 1 addr 2: low speed, power 98 mA, config 1, USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse(0xc012), Logitech(0x046d), rev 13.20 port 2 powered port 3 powered port 4 powered port 5 powered port 6 powered port 7 powered port 8 powered Controller /dev/usb1: addr 1: high speed, self powered, config 1, EHCI root hub(0x0000), nVidia(0x0000), rev 1.00 port 1 powered port 2 powered port 3 powered port 4 powered port 5 powered port 6 powered port 7 powered port 8 powered Greets Arnar Mar Sig Valka ehf
