    first, you might want to improve your chances of getting [useful]

    Now, the wmaker.inst file probably carries linux-specific instructions.
    You can make it a lot easier for yourself by using the loads of packages 
    that occupy most of the CD set you bought:

    <put CD 1/3/4 into the cdrom>
    su -m
    /stand/sysinstall configPackages
    <choose to install from the CD>
    <navigate to the x11-wm category>
