[-- Attachment #1 --] Since I upgraded and installed the sources for 4.1-Stable (I was using 4.0-Stable) I haven't had my pre-login message appear when someone tries to telnet in. In the past I was able to edit my gettytab file and include the 'if=/etc/issue' parameter to have a login message appear. I've made no changes to the gettytab since the update, and the manpage for gettytab has no helpful information. Is there any particular reason that the 'if' parameter doesn't work? How can I get it to work again other than by downgrading my source? It hasn't stopped working completely, it still works for local logins - remote logins is all that's been affected. Thanx!
